Second Chances
  • Each night as I lay in my bed, thoughts are running through my head.
  • I close my eyes, and I can clearly see.
  • I think back across the day, to what I did and had to say,
  • The smiles I shared, frowns I gave, it makes me have to say.
  • Give me just one more chance, and tomorrow,
  • I'll try to make a difference Lord.
  • To help someone who's filled with sorrow,
  • And share their heavy load.
  • As I live from day to day, and though I stumble and I stray,
  • I know the Lord will always see me through.
  • In His Word, He's made this vow, and though
  • I don't quite know just how, I know within my heart, His Word is true.
  • As I wake to each new day, I know that I just have to say,
  • A thank you to the Lord who sits on high.
  • He's the One who gave to me, new life for all eternity,
  • And He'll be with me till the end of time.
  • Thank you Lord, for giving second chances,
  • And never turning us away.
  • And even though we're not deserving,
  • You forgive us anyway.

The Beauty That Surrounds
  • The smell outside, after a rain,
  • And the sun coming out and shining again,
  • We see the rainbow and we know.
  • The seeds we planted deep in the ground,
  • We water and tend, and soon we've found,
  • A flower whose beauty is beyond compare.
  • Don't you see Him all around
  • In the beauty that surrounds,
  • It's so very, very plain to see.
  • Can't you feel how much He cares,
  • See His power everywhere,
  • Showing that His love's for you and me.
  • The mountains standing tall and strong,
  • And the sweet morning sound of a robin's song.
  • The rushing of a fast moving stream.
  • The sound of a newborn baby's cry
  • And the beauty in a sunset sky,
  • Gives us peace that we can keep within.

What's He's Done For Me
  • I can't heal a lame man, so he can walk again,
  • Or touch the eyes of a blind man, so he can see again.
  • I can't make a mountain, or calm the raging seas,
  • But I can tell you, what He's done for me.
  • He has taken away my blindness, so I can see.
  • Calmed the raging waters, way down inside me.
  • Gave my feet the direction, so they'll know the right way.
  • Changed my life completely, that's what He's done for me
  • I can't walk on water, or make the sun to shine.
  • Or feed 5,000 people, or turn water into wine.
  • I can't make an eagle, to soar wild and free.
  • But I can tell you, what He's done for me.
  • He came to us for Calvary, to die upon the cross,
  • To heal and show forgiveness, to a world that was lost.
  • To mend each broken spirit, and give life eternally,
  • And He'll do for you, what He's done for me.
  • He will take away your blindness, so you can see.
  • Calm the raging waters, that are running deep.
  • Give your feet direction, so they'll know the right way.
  • Change your life completely, just like He's done for me.

Jesus Is Waiting Just For You
  • Take a step in the right direction,
  • You will find true salvation.
  • Jesus is waiting just for you.
  • Get down on your knees and pray,
  • And He will save you today.
  • Jesus is waiting just for you.
  • Jesus is waiting just for you.
  • He'll forgive you all you sin.
  • There is nothing He can't do.
  • Jesus is waiting just for you.
  • Turn your back on the world below.
  • Look up to the sky and know,
  • Jesus is waiting just for you.
  • With His arms opened wide,
  • He will stay right by your side.
  • Jesus is waiting just for you.

I Believe
  • I believe, that the Lord hears me.
  • Yes, I believe, that the Lord hears me.
  • When on His name I call,
  • Oh, I believe.
  • Well I believe, that He loves me so.
  • Yes, I believe, that He loves me so.
  • And when He died,
  • Oh, He saved my soul.
  • Well I believe, what the Good Book says,
  • Yes, I believe, what the Good Book says.
  • And it says, one day,
  • He's coming back again.
  • And I'll never stop thanking Him for dying,
  • For a world full of sinners such as me.
  • And I'm gonna spend my whole life trying,
  • To share with the world that I am free.
  • I believe.

Best Friend
  • It doesn't matter what you're going through in you life,
  • You may have some dark clouds in you sky.
  • There is Someone waiting that can help you through,
  • And He'll wipe every teardrop that you cry.
  • Give Him a chance today, and you will be so glad.
  • He will be the Best Friend that you've ever had.
  • He will stand by you when you are feeling all alone.
  • He will come again tot take you home.
  • Everyone has days when they feel so blue,
  • They just want to run away and hide.
  • There is Someone waiting that can help you through.
  • And He'll wipe every tear drop that you cry

How Do I Know That I'm Forgiven?
  • The devil comes to me at night,
  • Reminds me of every sin.
  • Says nothing that I do is right,
  • He makes me doubt that I'm forgiven.
  • There's just no way that I'm am saved,
  • Not a sinner such as I,
  • And there's nothing I can do
  • But fall down on my knees and cry.
  • How do I know that I'm forgiven?
  • And that one day I'll see my Lord.
  • What makes me sure that I'll see Heaven,
  • And walk on the streets of purest gold?
  • How do I know that He saved me?
  • When they nailed Him to the cross
  • How do I know I'm forgiven,
  • And I'm not one of the lost?
  • Then I think about my Saviour
  • And the promises He told.
  • I remember that I asked Him,
  • Into my heart to save my soul
  • As I claim His every promise
  • I know He'll guide me through the night,
  • With His loving arms around me,
  • I hear Him whisper in the night.
  • He says my child you are forgiven,
  • And yes, one day you'll see your Lord.
  • He says My child you will see Heaven,
  • And walk on streets of purest gold.
  • For you know that I saved you,
  • When they nailed Me to the cross.
  • He says My child you are forgiven,
  • You are not one of the lost

He's Just A Prayer Away
  • So don't you ever worry,
  • When troubles get you down.
  • Cause there's a Special Someone,
  • Just waiting to be found.
  • He'll always walk beside you,
  • And guide you through each day.
  • So don't you ever worry,
  • He's just a prayer away.
  • Sometimes we feel so lonely,
  • Sometimes we feel so blue.
  • It may seem we’re all alone,
  • No one to help us through.
  • But lift your eyes to heaven,
  • And say a little prayer,
  • And know we have His promise,
  • That He'll always be near.
  • Sometimes we get discouraged,
  • We're sad and down and out.
  • But He is there beside us,
  • He's always the way out.
  • And with His gentle hands,
  • He'll comfort lovingly,
  • And in the stillness of your heart,
  • He'll whisper tenderly.

When I Call
  • High in the sky, way beyond the blue,
  • Jesus is waiting, to help me and you.
  • He sees every sparrow, and He cares if it falls,
  • So I know, He'll hear me when I call.
  • I know He'll hear me when I call.
  • He saved me, and helps me with my all.
  • My burdens are gone, and so I can go on.
  • And I know, He'll hear me when I call.
  • He can hear, a whisper in the night.
  • Calm all fears, and make everything all right.
  • He sees every sparrow, and He cares if it falls.
  • So I know, He'll hear me when I call.

Down By The River
  • I've tried to do the best I could,
  • But I still do the bad, instead of the good.
  • I know that He hears me, whenever I pray.
  • So I'm going to the river, and He'll wash my sins away.
  • I'm going down to the river,
  • Gonna let the Lord wash my sins away.
  • He's promised that I'll live forever,
  • Gonna be white as snow.
  • Gonna let everybody know
  • That He's the One who saved my soul,
  • Down by the river.
  • Now sometimes I stumble and fall.
  • He knows my heart and He hears me when I call.
  • He gently takes me by the hand, shows me the way.
  • So I'm going to the river and He'll wash my sins away.

Our Children's Prayer
  • Dear God,
  • Watch our children today,
  • No matter where they play.
  • Keep your hand over them, so they'll be safe.
  • Help their parents to be strong, to teach them right from wrong.
  • Keep them sheltered from harm, Dear God.
  • Protect these little ones today.
  • Guard each step that they take.
  • Keep them sheltered and safe, in your love.
  • Dear God,
  • Let us never stop trying,
  • To keep our children from crying.
  • Teach us to be patient kind and true.
  • Help us everyday in all that we do and say,
  • To show them all the right way, Dear God.

The Reason I Sing
  • You came to us out of love, You came from Heaven above,
  • You came to save us from our sins.
  • You only ask that we receive You in our hearts and believe,
  • Then You will come and live within.
  • Lord of Lords, King of Kings, You are the reason I sing.
  • You are the One who set me free.
  • You are the One, the only One.
  • You are God's precious son.
  • You are the one who died for me.
  • When we let Him live within, He shows us how to love again,
  • And takes away our foolish pride.
  • He takes our hand everyday, and our burdens fade away.
  • He helps us heal the hurts inside.
  • When we believe and follow Him, He promises to come again.
  • Coming to take His children home.
  • Where He'll take away our fears, and He'll wipe away our tears,
  • Where we'll never be alone.

When I Get To Heaven
  • When I get to heaven, here's what I'm gonna do.
  • I'm gonna find Brother Noah, ask him about his floating zoo.
  • Cause I've always wondered, how they all made it through,
  • Floating with them animals that came in 2 x 2.
  • When I get to heaven, here's what I'm gonna say.
  • When I find Brother Daniel, gonna ask him what he prayed.
  • Alone in that lion's den, all night till break of day.
  • When I get to heaven, that's what I'm gonna say.
  • When I get to heaven, here's who I hope to find.
  • A man named Jonah, looking for piece of mind.
  • He tried to hide from everyone, and almost got his wish,
  • But instead he ended up, in the belly of a fish.
  • But first when I see heaven, my Saviour I must find.
  • The One who came down to earth, and for us He died.
  • I never can thank Him enough, for all He's done.
  • Forever in Heaven, I'll sing praises to the Son.

All I Can See Is The Cross
  • I was driving home one night, from working late again.
  • As I drove, I saw the Church with a light, glowing within.
  • It had been many years ago, since I'd stood in the House of the Lord.
  • Surely God had forgotten me.
  • I felt all alone in this world.
  • I stopped and went inside the Church. I couldn't just drive on by.
  • I could hear the choir sing. It sounded like angels on high.
  • I couldn't stop the tears that fell. I cried for the time that I'd lost.
  • When I lifted up my eyes, All I could see was the cross.
  • When I lifted up my eyes, all I could see was the cross where He died.
  • Surrendered my all to the Lamb of God, all I could see was the cross
  • There've been times since that wonderous night, that heartaches have come my way.
  • Temptations, trials, have followed me, to make me lose my way.
  • Now I have a way that's true. I'm no longer lost.
  • I keep my eyes on my Lord until, all I can see is the cross.

More Like You Jesus
  • Lord, I come to You, and ask that You would give,
  • Your love, and compassion to me.
  • That when I meet, my neighbor, a friend or a stranger,
  • Lord, let them see Your love in me.
  • I want to be, more like You Jesus
  • I want to see, the world through Your eyes.
  • I want a heart, that cares like You Jesus,
  • When I see the hurting, with tears they can't hide.
  • Lord, I come to You, and ask that You would give,
  • A light that shines bright in me
  • To share with those in darkness, the ones who've lost their way.
  • Lord, let them see Your light in me.
  • Lord, I come to You, and ask that You would give.
  • Your words of hope to me.
  • That when I meet the lonely, the wounded, or the weary,
  • Lord, let them, see Your hope in me.

That's When I Pray
  • When this world thinks I am down, and it's won another round,
  • When it tells me that I have no other way.
  • All I can do now is cry, cause of all the hurt inside,
  • When it's got me on my knees, that's when I pray.
  • And I say, "Thank you Father, for loving me,"
  • And I say, "Thank you Jesus, for saving me."
  • My every prayer, You always hear, and I know You're always near.
  • When this world leads me astray, that's when I pray.
  • When this world thinks I'm alone, and that I can't carry on.
  • When it asks me why I keep trying each day.
  • How is it I don't give up, even when there's no way out?
  • When it's got me on my knees, that's when I pray.

My Own Way
  • I have tried my own way, to stand on my own.
  • I never listened when they said, you can't make it all alone.
  • I have paid the price, for choices that I've made.
  • I've learned my lessons well, going my own way.
  • I'm tired of going my own way.
  • Walking 'round with no direction, always going the wrong way.
  • I know this way of life, is more than I can take.
  • I need to change the path I'm on, stop going my own way.
  • I have whispered my prayers, to the night winds.
  • They have lifted my cares, to my Lord who forgives.
  • Like the prodigal son, I'm coming home to stay.
  • I'll change the path I'm on, stop going my own way.

Never Be Alone
  • Now sometimes I just can't understand,
  • The thoughts and deeds of mortal man.
  • We walk around lost everyday,
  • Not knowing that He has a better way.
  • Bring your burdens, bring your cares,
  • To the cross, He'll meet you there,
  • No more will you carry your load.
  • You'll be free from every sin,
  • Heaven's gate, you'll enter in,
  • He'll take your hand, and you'll never be alone.
  • Instead of fighting through another day,
  • Thinking that there is no other way.
  • Just listen to the Master when He calls,
  • Cause He's the One who'll catch you when you fall.

Tree Of Life
  • I know that Jesus died at Calvary,
  • And that He was nailed to a cross.
  • I know He suffered great agony,
  • To save this world that was lost.
  • I've heard about the tree that made the cross,
  • How it was old, it had no life.
  • But I think that when He died at Calvary
  • Jesus died on the tree of life.
  • Cause when they hung my Saviour on that cross,
  • He died for me, when He died for the lost.
  • And when they drove the nails in arms stretched opened wide,
  • When Jesus died for me, He died on the tree of life.
  • There was a tree of life in the garden,
  • They could look, but not touch.
  • But they gave into temptation,
  • Even though, they had so much.
  • They had to leave that beautiful garden,
  • They changed the world for all time.
  • How could they know that because of that one sin?
  • Jesus would one day pay the price.

Face To Face
  • I've never met the man face to face,
  • Yet I know that I am saved by his grace.
  • I've never heard His voice call out my name,
  • But I know He hears my voice, when on my knees I pray.
  • Jesus, I will follow, follow You wherever You go.
  • Though you lead, down paths uncertain,
  • When I reach my journeys end, I know I'll be home.
  • I've never met the man, Who gave sight to the blind,
  • Yet I know that in His plan, it was for me he died.
  • I've been through times and trials, I didn't understand,
  • But through them I kept my hold, on a nail scarred hand.
  • I've had people ask, how can this be?
  • Why would I follow Someone I have never seen?
  • How can I know that I've been saved by His grace?
  • I tell them all will be clear, when I see Him face to face.

Shadow Of The Cross
  • I see a tree, standing tall, reaching up to the sky,
  • Taking all that it needs from the sun.
  • It's roots grow deep in the ground,
  • The winds may blow, but strength it's found,
  • Just knowing that it might bend, but it won't break.
  • It might bend, but it won't break,
  • No matter what comes its way.
  • Even when the storms begin to blow.
  • It stands firm, and it stands strong, this is where it belongs
  • I want to be like that tree, standing tall.
  • I see a stream flowing down, from the mountain to the ground,
  • It will flow until one day, it's at the sea.
  • Sometimes it's fast, or maybe slow, but it keeps reaching for the goal.
  • It keeps bringing life where ever it flows.
  • It brings life wherever it flows, sharing hope as it goes.
  • Letting nothing ever slow it down.
  • Round each rock, and every bend, it will flow until the end.
  • I want to be, like that stream flowing down.
  • I see a cross on a hill, it will save without fail,
  • Any soul who will come to the Lord.
  • It stands for righteousness and truth, and all who come find life anew,
  • When they stand in the shadow of the cross.
  • In the shadow of the cross, there is hope for the lost.
  • The weary can lay their burdens down.
  • There's not one He'll turn away, and forever they will stay,
  • With the Saviour in the shadow of the cross.

Please Help Your Children
  • Please help your children Lord, as we go on our way.
  • Keep our feet from stumbling, and hear us when we pray.
  • Show us where we need to go, teach us what we need to know.
  • Please help your children Lord, make it through each day.
  • Cause we've tried it on our own, and we're tired of being alone.
  • And now we know there's no other way, so please help your children Lord
  • Make it through each day.
  • Please meet your children Lord, at the foot of the cross.
  • Take away each burden, from souls that are lost.
  • Promise that we're not alone, that one day, you'll take us home.
  • Please help your children Lord, make it through each day.
  • Please love your children Lord, though we're tempted and weak.
  • Bring us to the fold again, when forgiveness we seek.
  • Tell us that forevermore, we'll dwell on that Golden Shore.
  • Please help your children Lord, make it through each day.
  • Please comfort your children Lord, when we are feeling low.
  • Guide us to the mountain top, from the valley below.
  • Turn our face to the Son, till we hear Him say "Well, done."
  • Please help your children Lord, make it through each day.

A Sinner Like Me
  • I have many questions, but I don't have all the answers.
  • And sometimes, they weigh heavy on my mind.
  • But as I live each day, I'm sure of my future.
  • And that one day, I'll leave these questions, far behind.
  • I'll find out how a perfect man, could leave His home in Glory land.
  • For a cross that would be called Calvary.
  • He turned His back on streets of Gold, to save each lost soul.
  • He came to die for a sinner like me.
  • I have tried to be strong, but sometimes I falter.
  • And my sins, they weigh heavy on my soul.
  • But when I bring my doubts and fears to my Saviour,
  • He tells me that one day, all things I will know.
